#922 Easter in Florida — What’s Old is New Again! 🌸🐇🐣

Happy Easter from sunny Florida! Yet again.  🐰

Since 2014 we’ve been (mostly) spending our Easter’s in Florida, ever since my big boy was just shy of one… and what a long way we’ve come! On 2020 we spent Easter in North Fork… and last year we did it up in Hunter… but I always say there’s no place like home 😎🌴 

This time around we went back to our hallmark experience of the Ritz Carlton down bear Vanderbilt Beach. It was my first time staying at the hotel on actual Easter Day and I must say the hotel did a fantastic job with the kids! They organized (multiple) Easter egg hunts, in addition to a fabulous Easter brunch, crafts and painting and balloons… even a real love bunny! The kiddos had so much fun and it really made me realize how much I am going to miss these days one day. 

#921 That amazing Florida sunset 🌅

I had forgotten how majestic and beautiful that sunset was! We swung by the ocean just after Little munchkin’s swim lessons tonight which was from 6:30 to 7pm… and caught the most breathtaking view.  Sometimes the most precious things in life are also the most ephemeral.

#920 Back in Florida… after two years 🌴🌴

After a little over two heads of being away… we find ourselves back in Naples, Florida! Crazy right.

#919 Farewell Hunter! For now… ❄️⛷⛰

After a little more than three months — this weekend we finally packed up for the season! Farewell Hunter, farewell mountains, farewell Catskills.  We’ve had such an incredible run and we can’t wait to come back next winter.  My boys went from novices who have never encountered the mountain… to smooth, slick, confident pros on black diamond runs.  💎 To say that I am beyond proud is about understatement.
