TGIF! Whew — another busy busy week went by. So much so that I really haven’t had much of a chance to slow down and do much else.
I saw this look while passing through on Houston in a car on my way home from work (which is almost a daily routine at this point).
What can I say... it brought me back to my streetstyle says — to the very genesis of this blog. In a way it made me nostalgic. You know one of my “idols” so to speak, was the late Bill Cunningham — who practically invented streetstyle. I just simply adored him and was so inspired by his work. That (and the sheer madness of attempting to conceive) drove me to launch Rockshic Styles over six years ago — and look at us now! We’ve come a long way.
To the woman whose fleeting image I was able to capture from my Uber.... all I can say is “Bravo girlfriend!” I love your style, but more than anything, I love you ease and your attitude — that outlook on life that shifts somewhat as life drills on. Though when I look at you, I still see a reflection of myself — that sssenxe which we never shed.
