Happy Chinese New Year Eve!!! Today marks the official “start” of the Year of the Dog, and all I can say is “good riddance!” The Year of the Rooster (my “life” year if you will) has been one tough ride, and I am one relieved puppy now that it is behind us (pun intended).
We celebrated by taking our oldest munchie out to nearby Chinatown for a celebratory dinner. Mommy and daddy were originally planning on doing a big night out with some friends but decided against it, this is a special night and I’m glad I was with my little family unit (sans my Rockshic Baby #2). I am also happy to report that my next chapter, aka a new beginning has also officially began! I will expound upon that in the very near future.
All to say, life is good, we had lobster, bubbly, and even coconuts — tomorrow I’m hoping to watch some fireworks with munchkin and hubs (I’m even bringing little New Year favors for munchie to school!!!).
Make no mistake, this mamma is looking forward to 2018 like you wouldn’t believe!!! Big changes are on the horizon and all for the better. I feel incredibly blessed and lucky to be surrounded by my friends and family, and here’s to the year of the Earth Dog 🐕 🐶🍾! Woof.
