Happy Sunday! I can’t believe that the weekend is over, and Monday is just around the corner!
Though this time around, hubs and I are on holiday (whoo-hoo!!), and about to join our dear friends in Miami, where we’ll be shacked up at the Mondrian South Beach for the next week or so. Excited doesn’t begin to describe just how I feel (though there’s so much to do still before our take-off tomorrow morning).
These photos were taken during our zoo excursion the day after Christmas. I’ve heard so much about the Naples Zoo (all glowing!) and had wanted to see it in person for myself. We loved it so much we even became members.
For us, the highlight at the Naples Zoo was definitely the giraffe feeding (I wish I could capture that smile on the little guy’s face after it happened, I’ve never seen a grin so huge!). It was also a personal first for me, to see a giraffe so up close and personal (certainly didn’t get that on our Safari in South Africa). We also had a fun mommy-and-baby camel ride post giraffe feeding… unexpected, but worth the venture!
