This Sunday, hubs and I managed to sleep in with the baby (well, sort of), and decided to head to the town of Callicoon, along the great Delaware River, for their weekly Farmer’s market (from 11am to 2pm).
The town itself is located in the Southern Catskills (aka Sullivan County) and is super charming. It’s also known within the region as the “foodie capital” of the Delaware River valley and definitely warrants a visit if you’re ever up in the area!
For our little family, the Callicoon farmer’s market (open every Sunday from 11am to 2pm), made for a great daytrip excursion and offered just the right mix of comfort and fun – as it combined an eclectic blend of local produce, freshly cut flowers, and even some specialty toys and clothes with custom, rustic-chic charm. What’s not to love?
