An early morning stroll in Central Park with mummy and daddy! Munchkin is looking dapper in his Zara jeans and jacket, plus everyone's favorite pair of <a href="http://freshly-picked.com/collections/all-items" target="_blank" data-mce-href="http://freshly-picked.com/collections/all-items">Freshly Picked Moccasins</a>! Happy Easter Sunday lovelies!
There I was – thinking we’d gotten ahead of the curve by our pre-Easter egg-hunt endeavor and in no less than the blink of an eye… the actual day arrives! (Hubby still can’t get over the fact that you don’t get Easter Monday off in the U.S., but what can you do).
After a rather stressful week, it was simply nice to just unwind with my little family on this gorgeous Easter Sunday. Everything somehow aligned themselves magically – namely: (1) we managed to get out the door prior to target time (miracle of miracles!); (2) we arrived at our destination on the dot (hubs absolutely disdains being tardy, which means he’s practically got a permanent grimace on his face lately since we can never make anything on-time); and (3) there was minimal bickering between us as a result (huzzah!). Someday, I plan to dedicate an entire tutorial on the art of leaving the house with a baby. Until then, well, let us all just close our eyes and say a mini prayer.
These photos were taken in Central Park (we had brunch at my beloved Marea, which was a perfect spot to kick-off the day!). I tell ya, nothing beats strolling in the park on a beautiful weekend afternoon. Icing on the cake? Munckin slept during the entire duration!!!
Bliss.
We even dropped by the lovely and elegant apartment of the Hsu Closet. I think this may possibly be the first time munchkin had set sights on what a proper grown-up apartment (sans clutter of any sort) is meant to look like. By the expression on his face, not only was the Nuke thoroughly impressed with his surroundings, he hardly wanted to leave!
