Back home from all of my travels, and ready to embrace Spring!!! We snapped these shots on our way to brunch today – checking out a new local spot called “The Little Fox Café” on Kenmare. I’ve always enjoyed the street art mural on the corner of Kenmare and Mulberry, so I’m glad we picked it for today’s shoot.
This week, I started cleaning my closet, emptying out roughly 60-70% of my clothes that no longer work for my changing body. It was quite the undertaking, but now I feel remarkably better about my pregnancy wardrobe! What’s more, the entire process has given me clarity on what I need and what I can use from my existing collection.
It’s funny, I still feel like we’re in that rather awkward in-between phase. My friends and colleagues keep asking me, “where is your belly?” and they tell me that I don't really "look pregnant," which I suppose is a compliment. Yet, hubby doesn't hesitate to point out that my bump is “the size of a watermelon” (he's sweet, isn't he?). Bottom line: I am certainly not rehauling my entire wardrobe for nothing!!! So I suppose the conclusion is… everything will come together in due time.
The bigger question is – why is it still snowing in the middle of March?
