Happy Friday! After an extraordinarily stressful Thursday (where I had my wallet stolen, talk about bad timing!), I am feeling a bit more settled and composed now. It didn’t hurt either, that my CCs were FedExed this afternoon (such a relief! I tell ya, I feel positively naked without them!!).
These photos were taken this afternoon post lunch (and pre CC arrival). Something else that’s exciting, in the very best way imaginable, occurred this week – we found out that our little bean is a boy!!! Of course, hubby basically did a manful fist pump right then and there. After the ultrasound, the first thing I did was stop at Century 21 to visit their children’s section. I ended up buying the cutest little onesie (see below), along with some fun accessories. Not going to lie, boys have infinitely less selection than girls… but I am definitely starting to enjoy exploring the world of boys’ fashion! Plus, as my lunch companion pointed out, boys have cooler toys. So there you go!
Thinking blue, I put on one of my favorite “maternity” dresses. I wore this number not too long ago inside a Board meeting (I may have been a tad smaller then). I adore the ruffles in the front, which kind of creates a little illusion effect and doesn’t make me feel as big overall. It’s a great little dress for any occasion, and pairs brilliantly with a jacket. You may have seen this Asos clutch from a recent shopping event. It’s both fun and functional – the best possible combo!
