We took in the breathtaking views of the Pão de Açúcar (Sugar Loaf) Mountain. Apparently, the Sugar Loaf is the highest point above sea level in Rio de Janerio… though, of course, we chose the easy route and reached the peak via cable car. Regardless, I still opted for something comfortable (flats are a must!!)… and enjoyed our walk to the summit (with multitudes of gorgeous lookout points!).
Oh, and we even caught sight of some wildlife, (aka tufted-eared marmosets). Absolutely adorable! That is, if they don't run away with your camera...
