It's so crazy to think that it is Thursday already! Not only are we nearing the end of the week but the end of the month as well, yowza!
Not surprisingly, with all that jazz going on, I am feeling sufficiently overwhelmed and need to multitask my little behind off or else.... well I imagine I'd be paying for it later! (Literally and figuratively). With two little men, it's tough to get anything done around here!
In comes this great little thing called Dockatot. It functions precisely as the name suggests.... it allows you the ability to put the little down while you do you. The great thing about Dockatot is that it's portability, design, and comfort. My little man has been sleeping in it since he was just a few days old! We've littlerally lugged it around with us everywhere (from NYC down to sunny Florida where I've been spending the bulk of my maternity leave). He sleeps in it, naps in it, plays in it, and I get a peace of mind while doing some work around the house (either on my trusty laptop or just running around like a headless chick, you and it!).
Dockatot comes in two sizes - the smaller size and the grand (which I have). The fabulous thing, particularly for a fashion-conscious mamma, is that it has interchangeable covers that lets you mix and match so that you can find the perfect look that suits you and your nursery/home decor! After all, we mammas shouldn't have to compromise on aesthetics just because we have little people to chase after right? In fact, I'd even argue that we simply deserve the best for all the hard work we put into!
So go ahead and give it a try.... many mothers I've spoken to swear by the smaller version since it cradles their babies during the earlier phases.... a part of me wishes that I would have given it a tr myself -- but they grow up so quickly and my little men sure don't come small! (My first baby was almost 10 pounds and this little man was 8 pounds and 13 oz so....) at the end of the day, it all boils down to personal choices -- but one thing is universal -- we all need to dock our little precious tots somewhere!!! Those endless cups of coffees don't just make themselves you know.
