As we’re rapidly approaching our wedding anniversary date (five years my friend!), I can’t help but reminisce about the ghosts of anniversaries past (a St. Mart redux for our first, Mexico for our second, Montreal for the third year, and Barcelona for our fourth).
This time, instead of Gaudi scoping & cava tasting, food-styling with the likes of Ferran Adrià, or even a psychedelic date or two with the ever brilliant Dali (you can tell I really miss Spain!)… we are brainstorming about which additional baby gear to get, now that the little Bambino is almost six weeks old!
What a difference a year makes!!!
While I’m perfectly happy with our Bugaboo Chameleon 3 for everyday ease-of-use (see here), I have been on the lookout for a lighter umbrella stroller for when munchkin gets a tad bit older. Lo and behold the Babyhome Emotion Stroller! Light (13 pounds!), sleek, and ridiculously stylish, it's perfect for a young city mommy's wants and aesthetic. In fact, I think that I may just need to pick one up for the Nuke soon!
As kismet would have it, the Emotion Stroller also happens to be manufactured by a Spanish company, Babyhome, who knows a thing or two about color and design. (Not gonna lie, everytime I see Babyhome, I think of Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem).
Only tricky thing – which color should this mamma pick, given the kaleidoscope of options before me? I must admit that I am partial to the purple... for now!
Oh, and did I mention that Babyhome offers much more than just strolling gear? You can also get their Onfour Baby Seater (kind of genius if you ask me), Side Bed Rail, Eat High Chair, and the ultra light & adjustable Dream Travel Crib (perfect for when hubs and I go back to New Zealand), just to name a few.
The Onfour seater is most definitely on my lust list (second to the Emotion Stroller of course!). I mean, really – a bouncing seat with wheels to match? Simply brilliant! Plus an umbrella to accessorize with, while the little one lounges in the sun...
Can you just say, relentlessly adorable & chic?
